Keynoter at Big Data Congress Lithuania 2018

I’m glad to announce I’ll be one of the keynoters at Big Data Congress Vilnius, Lithuania (https://www.bigdataconference.lt/) which will take place in November.

I’ll speak in two talks: the keynote, about Automated Machine Learning and another one about predicting Olive Oil prices.

Being a keynoter at this great conference is an honor and I hope to live up to it. For those who are interested in it, these ones will be the talks:

Data Science for Lazy People, Automated Machine Learning

Data science is fun, right? Data cleaning, feature selection, feature preprocessing, feature construction, model selection, parameter optimization, model validation… oh wait… are you sure? What about automating 80% of the work even doing better choices than you? Automated Machine Learning has arrived to be your personal assistant in Data Science.

Predicting the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Price using Deep Learning Approach

Jaén is a Spanish region that produces the 20% of world olive oil. The economy is very dependant on the olive oil price and for that reason, every farmer becomes a real trader. In this talk, it will be shown how to predict the Extra Virgin Olive Oil price using several Machine Learning techniques including deep learning models trained in Tesla K80 GPU provided by Google Colab.
